Another tragedy has hit the Bloodline within a course of two months. It was reported earlier that the member of Wild Samoans, Afa Anoa’i, has passed away at the age of 81. This news quickly took over the internet as WWE stars and fans expressed their condolences for the Anoa’i family and Bloodline. The member of the family, Jey Uso, took over the microphone after SmackDown and paid an emotional tribute to the legend.

The Main Event Jey was scheduled to compete in a dark match. Following the battle, he expressed gratitude to the fans for all the wishes. He paid tribute to WWE legend Afa Anoa’i by conveying his impact on their family. Jey Uso added that he and his family needed support tonight to perform, and the WWE Universe was there for them. Therefore, on behalf of all the members of Bloodline, he said thank you to the crowd in Orlando, FL.

Moreover, Uso had a dominant victory as well on SmackDown after it went off the air. He teamed up with the former World Champion, Damian Priest to take on Ludwig Kaiser and World Champion, Gunther. Priest and Jey were a great team, signifying the babyface turn of the Punisher. After the match, the former Bloodline member also praised the Archer of Infamy for being a great partner tonight.

Furthermore, before Jey made his entrance, Roman Reigns was brutally ambushed by the crooked Bloodline. He was assaulted on SmackDown before he made his way out. However, Main Event Jey didn’t openly acknowledge it and moved on. It is for sure that down the line, he would be aligning himself with the ‘Original Tribal Chief’ to restore the ‘Original Bloodline’.

Roman Reigns reacts to the demise of Afa Anoa’i

The death of Afa Anoa’i was another great loss for the world of professional wrestling. A few months ago, his former Tag Team partner and father to Roman Reigns, Sika Anoa’i passed away. The Tribal Chief had a somber reaction to that, and now he has expressed grief for the loss of his uncle.

Taking it to X, the Head of the Table expressed gratitude to everyone who supported them in this tough time. He heaped praise on his uncle Afa and called him and his father the greatest tag team of their generation. The Needle Mover added that it eases him to see not that his father and uncle are once again reunited and now they rest in peace.

Moreover, other stars like Triple H also promoted their condolences to the Anoa’i family at this tough time. Afa made a major contribution to tag team wrestling. He was one of the key figures during his time in the wrestling industry.
