Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving possesses elite ball handling and shooting skills that make him one of the best ball handlers the NBA has ever seen. Irving, who is 32 years old, is also considered a veteran of the game. Recently, Irving reached out to one of the most popular YouTubers, Kai Cenat, who is known for his great humor and collaboration projects.
Kai Cenat recently did a live stream on Twitch, during which Kyrie Irving called in to chat with him. Cenat was thrilled to have Irving join the conversation. Later, Cenat exaggerated his reactions and made some remarks about the age of the Mavericks guard. Cenat playfully referred to Irving as “Uncle Drew” from his Pepsi ad. Irving took the joke in stride and didn’t seem to mind at all. Ultimately Cenat apologized to Irving for the comments he made.
You really Uncle Drew right now, it's really that.Kai Cenat exclaimed on Twitch
Irving was drafted into the NBA in 2011 by the Cleveland Cavaliers. After he secured a deal with Pepsi, the commercials between Irving and Pepsi were based on him dressed as an old guy named Uncle Drew. His persona in these ads was that of an old individual who played basketball with the skill and agility of a young star with elite ball-handling abilities. These commercials gained a lot of popularity, significantly boosting the brand’s image and sales performance.
Even though Irving is getting up in age, he continues to be one of the top guards in the league. His partnership with Luka Doncic has certainly helped make the Dallas Mavericks one of the top teams in the Western Conference. They came close last year, reaching the NBA finals but eventually losing to the Boston Celtics.

He recently had a delightful interaction with popular live streamer Kai Cenat.
While the Team USA bus was leaving the headquarters and heading towards the arena, many fans saw them leaving. Cenat was doing his livestream when he saw Durant; he immediately ran towards the two-time champion. He even passed through the police but wasn’t able to meet Durant as the bus started moving.
Cenat has made it clear about how big of an NBA fan he is. Cenat was able to meet many NBA stars like LeBron James and Stephen Curry during the Team USA matchups and has also had many NBA stars on his live stream on Twitch.
