A significant rivalry has been brewing between the current Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan, and Kairi Sane. For the first time, the Damage CTRL group has become a babyface faction. Currently, the group is embroiled in a three-way rivalry with Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, and The Pure Fusion Collective. However, with two members, Asuka and Dakota Kai, being injured, Sane has been able to focus on her singles career.
After the latest episode of SmackDown went off-air, Liv Morgan defended her Women’s World Title against Kairi Sane. The former Women’s Tag Team Champion started the match with high intensity, catching the champ off guard with her innovative offense. In the final moments of the match, Morgan cleverly rolled her opponent up for a quick pin and retained the title.
Two weeks ago, after SmackDown went off-air, the controversial duo of Dominik Mysterio and Morgan squared off against Braun Strowman and Sane in a mixed tag team match. The Pirate Princess ended up pinning the current Women’s World Champion to secure the win. The crowd in attendance loved the unlikely partnership and fully supported them in defeating the Judgment Day duo.
Usually, pinning the world champion allows a superstar to challenge for the title. Sane is hoping that her opportunity is just around the corner. However, it certainly won’t be at the Bash in Berlin PLE, as Dom Dom Mysterio and the 30-year-old champion will face Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest in a mixed tag team match. Only time will tell who will walk out as the winners on August 31 in Germany.
Liv Morgan called Dominik Mysterio the greatest Mysterio of all time
Dominik Mysterio made his debut four years ago alongside his father, Rey Mysterio. However, his connection with WWE dates back to when he was a little kid attending the shows. To Dominik, he’s already the greatest Mysterio of all time, despite only wrestling for a few years. She expressed her feelings about her Daddy Dom on social media.
WWE shared a picture on X of the former North American Champion from his younger days. In the caption, they asked where that young boy had gone, referring to his current heel character. The 30-year-old champion didn’t waste any time replying to the post, stating that he grew up to be the greatest Mysterio the world had ever seen.

Dominik turned heel at the Clash at the Castle PLE two years ago, where he attacked Rey and Edge. Since then, he has been a loyal member of Judgment Day, until SummerSlam. He ended up betraying Rhea Ripley and aligning with Daddio, while Finn Balor also stabbed Damian Priest in the back. Needless to say, he faces a tough challenge in resisting the wrath of a woman he once called his Mami.
