(Video) Reigning NASCAR Cup champion Joey Logano names the ‘three best racing movies’ ever
Future Hall of Famer Joey Logano has named the three best racing movies he has seen during championship media tour.

The 2024 NASCAR Cup season finale at Phoenix Raceway watched history in making, as Team Penske Racings Joey Logano won his third Bill France Cup, marking his name in the list of stock car racing elites. The triumph also made him the most successful driver in the playoff era and the most accomplished active racer.
The champion is currently on a media tour and is meeting up with different personalities making content celebrating his win. In one such interaction, Joey Logano was asked to name the three best racing movies of all time, and he had a quick answer. He named NASCAR Cult classic Days of Thunder, endurance racing based Ford vs Ferrari, and legendary F1 movie Rush.

In the same video, the interviewer asked him to name his favorite racetrack in NASCAR. He was quick to name the Bristol Motor Speedway, where he enjoys the night races. His being a three times race winner at the track makes it special as well.

Joey Logano explains a misconception about NASCAR racing
In the same interview, the host asked Logano about a misconception many have about the sport. He pointed at the infamous driving around circles claim and explained that the competition and strategy make it more complex an entertaining.

A lot of people think we just drive in circles, and it’s true. We are. When you add the competition to it and all the strategy that goes along with it, it becomes so deep. Team Penske, where I drive, has 400 people building our cars.

The Cup champion is having the time of his life after the title win and he deserves all the credit. He has more left to give for the sport and it will be interesting to see how Joey Logano’s racing future will playout.
