Vienna Open 2025: Where to Watch, Live Streaming, Broadcast Details, and Schedule

Last week, the Six Kings Slam ended in favor of Jannik Sinner, who breezed past Carlos Alcaraz to defend his title as well as take home $6 million prize money. Alcaraz won’t be in action this week as he chose not to feature in any of the ATP 500 events.

The four-time Grand Slam champion, however, has already arrived in Vienna and will kick-start his campaign against Daniel Altmaier. He is chasing his fourth title of the season, following his wins at the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and the China Open. The last official tournament Sinner played before the Six Kings Slam was the Shanghai Masters, where his run ended in the third round due to cramps.

Sinner, also the first seed, skipped the Vienna event last year, but he lifted it in 2023 by defeating Daniil Medvedev. The Russian will be confident about his chances given that he finally ended his trophy drought by lifting the Almaty Open with a three-set win over France’s Corentin Moutet. It was his first trophy since winning his career’s first clay-court title at the 2023 Italian Open.

Medvedev, also the sixth seed, is a former champion in Vienna, winning the title in 2022 by going past Denis Shapovalov. Second seed Alexander Zverev was the winner here in 2021 (beat Frances Tiafoe), while seventh seed Andrey Rublev clinched the title in 2020 by defeating Lorenzo Sonego.

Jack Draper, the defending champion, will not be participating as he suffered an arm injury during the US Open and has ended his season. Last year, he beat Karen Khachanov.

Vienna Open 2025 schedule

The Vienna Open kick-started on October 20. The final will be held on October 26.

The total prize pool of the Vienna Open is $3,189,554. The winner will pocket $596,569, while the runner-up will receive $320,980.

The Vienna Open is an indoor hard-court tournament. A total of 32 players will feature, eight of whom are the seeded ones. Four will be playing the main draw following the qualifying round. Three players are wild-card entrants.

Jannik Sinner is projected to meet Andrey Rublev in the semifinals, but before that, he could square off against Alexander Bublik in the quarterfinals. In the final, he could meet Alexander Zverev or Daniil Medvedev.

Zverev is dealing with a slump in form. He clinched only the Munich Open and has also played the finals of the Australian Open and the Stuttgart Open, losing both to Sinner and Taylor Fritz, respectively.

Following Vienna, the top players will be heading toward Paris for the final Masters 1000 of the season. Zverev will be playing as the defending champion. Sinner had skipped it last year, and winning the tournament will help him gain 1000 points, which in turn will help him narrow the rankings gap between him and Carlos Alcaraz.

After the Paris Masters and ATP 250 events, those who qualified for the ATP Finals will head to Turin. Sinner will be the defending champion. He defeated Fritz last year.

The two ATP tournaments of the 250 category that will be held before the ATP Finals are: the Hellenic Championship in Athens and the Moselle Open in Metz. In Athens, 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic will be chasing his second title of the season in the first edition of the Hellenic Championship.
