While MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli fans continue to obsess about this bond, David Warner-led Delhi Capitals thrashed Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Saturday.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni was heard talking about Virat Kohli after his team defeated their arch-rivals Mumbai Indians (MI) on Saturday. Dhoni was probably talking about Virat Kohli’s batting technique and how he plays the first ball of his inning generally. The CSK captain, who is known for his capability to read the game at its finest was seen breaking Kohli’s mindset while batting.
Dhoni was heard saying to one of his teammates that Virat does not play the first ball of his inning as he played against Delhi Capitals on Saturday. “Virat does not play the first ball like this (making a gesture for defence), he goes like (gesture not seen),” Dhoni was heard saying in a video circulating on social media.
Dhoni mentioning Virat sent the fans into a frenzy as they kept obsessing over the bond between the two cricketers.
Delhi Capitals thrash RCB
While MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli fans continue to obsess about this bond, David Warner-led Delhi Capitals thrashed Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Saturday. DC chased 182 20 balls and six wickets left. Phil Salt was the hero for DC as the wicketkeeper batter scored a 45-ball 87. The English batter looked pretty happy with his knock as well as the win.
“I spoke before the game about being positive. We knew the wicket was slow and low, and we spoke about playing off the backfoot. I thought 180 was par, I felt we would have to bat really well to get there. (On Mitch Marsh) He came in and hit the second ball for six or something like that, it put bowlers on the backfoot. Loving the support, specially here in Delhi,” said Salt after the game.
