England came roaring back in the three-match ODI series against India after losing the first match by levelling things up in the second. Despite being set a stiff target of 337, the Englishmen led by Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes made merry and dominated the Indian bowling attack to ensure that England not only got to the target but they got to it in quick time as well (under 44 overs).

Following the defeat, India were left with a lot to think about, especially with regard to their bowling attack. Their spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Krunal Pandya were taken to the cleaners and were unable to both pick wickets and control the run-flow. Therefore, changes could be on offer tomorrow when India takes to the field for the last time in the tour in the series-deciding third ODI.

Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer is known for being extremely active on social media during India’s matches. His memes, retorts and coded messages have gone viral many a time. He came up with yet another one of his trademark coded messages today for Indian skipper Virat Kohli.

He posted an image of people playing chess in Washington Square Park and wrote, “Good morning @imVkohli a photo to brighten up your morning. And yes, good luck for the game tomorrow.” Fans soon started to decode the message and came up with the answer that Jaffer was hinting at picking Yuzvendra Chahal who is a former national chess player and Washington Sundar (due to the picture being that of Washington Square Part). Jaffer could also have called for the inclusion of Suryakumar Yadav (‘Sun’ is Surya in Hindi)

The third ODI begins tomorrow at 1:30 PM IST.
