India youngster Ishan Kishan recently made headlines for his bizarre avatar in the third ODI against Bangladesh. In that match, he unleased 200-plus runs to break a series of records. But another incident has also become a talking point in the town.

It’s a video uploaded by a fan that has gone instantly viral and won the hearts of the internet. In the video, a fan asked Kishan to put his signature next to former India skipper MS Dhoni‘s on the cellphone. When Kishan saw Dhoni’s autograph, he turned down the request to sign above Dhoni’s sign.

But when the fan still urged him to sign next to Dhoni’s autograph, Kishan said: “There is Mahi bhai’s signature, and you’re asking me to sign above his. I don’t feel like doing it. Why the phone? I’ll sign on something better.”

When the fan told him that he want both the Ranchi-based cricketers’ signs on the phone so that the signs remain together, Ishan then replied: “Mahi bhai ka signature yaar, uske uper main kaha se ghus jaau? Hum log abhi utna pohuche nahi hain wahan par. Neeche karta hoon. (It will be together but how can I sign next to his signature? There is Mahi bhai’s signature, how can I sign above it? I haven’t reached that level yet. I will sign below).

Ishan Kishan made history by becoming the youngest player ever to score a double century in ODI cricket. The 24-year-old batter surpassed Rohit Sharma (who scored the ton at the age of 26) to achieve the feat.

The left-handed batter’s knock also had nine maximums and 24 boundaries. He joined the list of batters like Rohit, Sachin Tendulkar, and Virender Sehwag to have scored 200 and more runs in an ODI innings. In his 131-ball knock, he amassed 210 runs when Taskin Ahmed finally dismissed him.

Kishan scored the highest run on Bangladesh soil as well as against Bangladesh in an ODI. He even surpassed Chris Gayle to whack the fastest double ton in the 50-over format.
