Going through the video, Masvidal tried to show how Covington is a hypocrite and says one thing at one time and says the complete opposite of it the next time. Masvidal usually begins with tracing a little bit of nostalgic time when he and Covington both were friends, and how Covington used to speak highly of Masvidal himself.

The video then carries over to the time when Covington starts talking trash about Brazilians in Brazil after which the beginning of hostility between Covington and the entire American Top Team aka ATT, his former training centre where Masvidal still trains. The thing was that Covington hurt a lot of Brazilians who were training in the ATT because of his comments on Brazil.

The video also covers a lot of people talking about Covington as a person. This included Covington’s other equally heated rival and former teammate in Dustin Poirier, former UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk, former world champion and Olympian Ben Askren, and light heavyweight great Jon Jones. No one, literally no one, has anything to speak highly of Covington.

At last, Masvidal comes in the video through a snippet of his interview with Ariel Helwani back in 2019 and says “If you do sell out our friendship like that so quick, we never had any friendship.”
