The fourth race of the 2024 season was won by Max Verstappen. The Dutchman led a Red Bull 1-2 ahead of Sergio Perez for the Austrian outfit. With his mighty drive, his loved ones could be seen proud of him, especially his stepdaughter, Penelope.

Red Bull was back to winning ways after a subpar Australian GP for the team. Max Verstappen and Co. claimed their fourth 1-2 finish of the ongoing campaign in Japan and were happy with the result. Similarly, Kelly Piquet‘s daughter, Penelope, was heard screaming “Max Yeah” during the podium celebrations.

Piquet’s four-year-old daughter was present at the Australian GP a few weeks back but was unable to cheer for the Dutchman due to him DNFing at the event. However, this time Penelope did not leave her chance to root for Verstappen after his 56th career win.

More so, even before the podium, the 26-year-old was spotted hugging her daughter in the parc fermé after his win. These wholesome moments between the adorable pair were the center of attention during the podium celebrations at the Japanese GP.

The Dutchman was adamant that he could not have done anything better during the Japanese GP and reckoned it to be flawless. Despite dominating in Japan, he is weary about the return to China and claims the following weekend to be quite hectic.

As China makes a return to the F1 calendar after a decent gap, the reigning champion is aware of the challenges posed by the tight and twisty circuit.

It's going to be quite hectic with the Sprint weekend and then only one practice session to get into it, so it will be interesting!

Verstappen was optimistic about his chances but claimed the weekend to be quite hectic. Moreover, during the Sprint weekend, he will only get a single practice session to get up to speed in the RB20, which appears as a mammoth task.

However, following his ongoing run under the current set of regulations, he is expected to dominate the Shanghai event. Subsequently, inching ever closer to achieving his fourth consecutive world championship.
