Novak Djokovic posted an Olympic tribute TikTok featuring parts of his on-court and off-court celebrations. The Serbian beat Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets on August 4 to clinch gold for his country, which he regards as his greatest achievement.
Heading into the Games, Djokovic didn’t have a title to his name this year. Despite that, he got through tough opponents including Rafael Nadal, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Lorenzo Musetti.
He reached the final and faced his toughest challenge yet — a clash with Carlos Alcaraz for the title. Djokovic gave it his all to win 7-6(3), 7-6(2) and emerge victorious. The celebrations began for the Serbian immediately.
From letting out a roar in the stadium to hugging his family and finally walking on the podium wearing both the gold medal and the Serbian flag, Djokovic celebrated to his fullest. He recorded and finally posted every part of this on his TikTok account.

Novak Djokovic unsure of his future after ‘completing’ tennis with the Olympic gold
Novak Djokovic‘s retirement might also be inching closer. The Serbian, who had a terrible first half of the year, bounced back to form with an Olympic gold. With that, he has technically ‘completed’ tennis, winning almost every possible trophy.

However, recently, Djokovic also expressed his uncertainty about the future. He said he did not know what was in store for him but stated that he was ready to compete with the youngsters and push his body.
I play because I love the competition, training my body, perfecting my game. This sport has given me so much in my life and I try to give back to the sport with dedication and the sacrifice I put on the court when no one else is watching.Novak Djokovic said after winning the Olympic gold
Recently, the World No. 2 pulled out of the Cincinnati Masters. Last year, he beat Carlos Alcaraz to win the title but has chosen not to compete in the event this year. Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are participating in the tournament and hoping to bag as many points as possible before the US Open.
