AUS vs ENG: The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 was underway, and Australia faced off against England at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Everyone was aware of the fact that the Indian Cricket Team will not be traveling to Pakistan for their matches due to security reasons, and they will be playing all their matches of the tournament in Dubai.
India and Pakistan are not just archrivals on the field but also from a political point of view. However, today a hilarious incident happened during the national anthem of Australia and England. Pakistan mistakenly played ‘Jana Gana Mana’ (the national anthem of India) for a brief second before playing the national anthem of Australia, which led to a huge roar from the Pakistani crowd. Later, they corrected the mistake and played the national anthem of Australia.
Pakistan will be facing India in the next match of the Champions Trophy in Dubai on February 23. The Men in Green have suffered a humiliating defeat in the tournament opener against New Zealand, and this high-pressure game will be a must-win for them. India have defeated Bangladesh in their opening match in Dubai and will be coming to this match high on confidence.
Pakistan are facing problems with team combinations, their performance, and also injuries to their key players. After Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of the remainder of the tournament with an injury. India will be the favorites in this game, but anything can happen in an India vs. Pakistan game.

AUS vs ENG: Australia won the toss and elected to bowl first before a Josh Inglis assault finished England
Australia won the toss in Lahore and elected to field first. England scored 351 runs in their 50 overs for the loss of eight wickets. The highest run scorers were Ben Duckett, who scored 165 runs off 143 deliveries with 17 boundaries and three sixes, and Joe Root, who scored 68 runs off 78 deliveries with four boundaries.

Ben Dwarshuis scalped three wickets, Adam Zampa and Marnus Labuschagne picked up two wickets each. Glenn Maxwell picked up one wicket. They are in this tournament without the presence of their two premier pacers in the form of Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins.
Australia who struggled in the beginning following early wickets of Travis Head and Steve Smith, put on a steady partnership courtesy of Matthew Short and Marnus Labuschagne. However, a quick double blow once again put them on the back foot.
Then came Josh Inglis and Alex Carey who steered the game away from England. With 15 balls to spare, Australia hunted down England.
