A video has been making rounds on the internet where once again Pakistani fans were zealous to meet their favourite Indian star cricketers. Amid the eager wait for the high-profile India vs Pakistan match in Asia Cup 2022, fans from both sides are failing to wait for having a glimpse of their idols. This shows that the game of cricket shouldn’t be considered as war between the two countries.
Rohit Sharma’s fandom trancends boundaries and he has fans across the world. During practice session, the Pakistani fans couldn’t control their excitement after seeing Rohit. And Rohit also was seen enjoying his fanbase.
In the video that has gone viral, Rohit is seen hugging the Pakistani fans ahead of the clash against Pakistan on Sunday, August 28. Watch the video below:
But this gesture by Rohit might get him in trouble. Since Covid-19 cases are on the rise again, ICC might take an action towards him for breaking the Covid-19 protocol because no players are allowed to have any physical contact with any spectators. It will be a huge blow for India if ICC forbids him to take part in the blockbuster match against Pakistan.

“Strike rate of the batters has improved because Rohit Sharma has led by example”- Saba Karim on India’ new approach for T20Is
Former cricketer Saba Karim praised Rohit Sharma and said that the Indian captain has played a huge role in adopting an attacking-style cricket for T20Is. Stated that Rohit now wants to have a healthy strike rate from the very first ball.
“The transition that we have seen in India’s approach, and that is because of Rohit Sharma. The way he has changed his mindset, it has given the message to other batters that they will also need to play in this fashion,” said Karim on India News Sports.
“This is both the team and Rohit’s vision. The strike rate of the batters has improved because Rohit has led by example. Earlier, he used to take his time initially and would accelerate in the latter stages. But now, his approach is to play with a strike rate of over 140 right from the first ball,” he added
