Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has been in the limelight lately as rumors of his wedding are doing the rounds. Ever since Bumrah requested to be released from the Indian team on personal grounds, reports have flooded in about his marriage. According to reports, the celebrated pacer is all set to tie the knot with TV presenter Sanjana Ganesan.
Fans are overjoyed with the news and have been digging for clues about a relationship between the rumored couple on social media. This quest has led to numerous old interviews and tweets between the two getting viral. Latest in the line of posts is a video where Sanjana is seen interviewing Bumrah. The video is from BCCI’s award ceremony in 2020 where Bumrah could be seen facing his bowling in virtual reality.
“I was playing against a very good bowler, difficult to tackle such bowlers. I would give him the credit,” Bumrah told Sanjana sharing his experience of facing his bowling.
“No he is very good, I will not take him on,” he added when asked if he would perform better against himself next time with the bat in hand.
Who is Sanjana Ganesan?
Sanjana is a former Miss India having bagged the crown back in 2014. She also has been a part of the famous reality show MTV Splitsvilla in Season 7. Over the past few years, Ganesan has been performing the job of a cricket presenter and is also associated with the IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Ganesan, a TV presenter who has hosted several shows on sports broadcast. She has also featured in pre-match and post-match shows on Team India games.
Bumrah was honored with the Polly Umrigar award for the best international cricketer at the ceremony last year. The Indian quick was also presented with the Dilip Sardesai Award for taking the highest number of wickets in Tests in 2018-19.
