“Hey man, I mean, it’s my sixth year in the league,” Skipper said. “I’ve never made a team. It’s tough. You go in, and you’re never quite good enough. You’re not quite enough. You show up every day, and you think you’re doing the right things, and just for whatever reason, it just doesn’t quite work out.”

Arik Armstead didn’t wait when accusing Dan Skipper of being a racist. A video of a celebration with Dan Skipper was getting viral and the 49ers DE reposted the video and called out Skipper for calling the n-word multiple times.

“So we are cheering for a racist now? Called multiple players the N-word in games. Hard ER,” Armstead commented. Arik Armstead is known for using his social media to fight injustice and social issues. People thought his accusation is false as Dan Skipper has been a unifying figure in the Lions dressing room.

Armstead’s accusations on Dan Skipper didn’t gain any clout as no additional players spoke out or supported his claims. The Lions have also not released a statement regarding the same.
