‘We don’t need new signings’ claims, Zinedine Zidane

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is adamant on not needing any new signings. His men won dramatically in a thrilling contest against Real Betis which ended 3-2. However, the win was far from easy.
No New Signings:

Madrid struck early with Valverde scoring in the 14th minute but was soon equalised with two goals in three minutes by Aissa Mandi and William Carvalho right before half-time. However, Zidane’s men started strong in the second half and equalised within 3 minutes of the half.
Emerson was sent off with 23 minutes remaining as he tripped Jovic in a one-on-one situation. In the 82nd minute, Real Madrid received a penalty which Sergio Ramos converted.

Zidane was quizzed after the game about lack of signings, “No. We spoke about this before. I’m happy with the squad that I’ve got. We are what we are and we’re going to try to have a successful season.” He even commented on the match, “We had a lot of chances, and people we talk about how we don’t score enough but today we hit three and could have had more. I’m very proud of all the players, they’re working brilliantly. We have to keep it up.”
Zidane has a lot of midfielders out due to injury and will look to shuffling his squad to get the best out of them.
