Ole Gunnar Solskjær blames red covers at Old Trafford for poor form

Ole Gunnar Solskjær

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær believes that the red wraps on the seats in Old Trafford are the reason their home record isn’t up to the mark. He says that due to the red covers, the players aren’t able to pick each other up!

Yes you read that right. If that was the case Ole, Arsenal should face the same problem? Chelsea with Stamford Bridge colored blue should face the same problem? It’s absolutely ridiculous how a manager of a top club makes such statements.

Manchester United will be facing Granada in the second leg of the UEFA Europa league quarterfinals at home. And Ole Gunnar Solskjær believes that with the color of the covers changed- so will their luck.

You’ll see a change now, if you see the banners around the club, it’s not red anymore,” Solskjaer said.

We’ve looked into this, there shouldn’t be a reason, really. But some of the payers have mentioned that split-second decision you have to make where you look over your shoulder to see if your team-mate is there or not and the red shirt is on a red background with red seats.

So, we’ve tried to change that along with the anti-racism campaign, that was important that it wasn’t red anymore.
