“What a fantastic job,” Lewis Hamilton comes up with heartfelt message for Nyck De Vries on super F1 debut

Ever since his F1 debut, Nyck De Vries has been getting praised in the paddock and Lewis Hamilton has also jumped onto the bandwagon through his Instagram handle.
Nyck De Vries had a day to remember at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza Circuit where he was given the opportunity to compete in his maiden F1 race with the Williams team.
Moreover, the Dutchman’s outing was made even better by the fact that he was able to secure an impressive P9 and score points in a less competitive Williams car.
Lewis Hamilton, after the race, sounded extremely pleased for the Mercedes reserve driver and while appreciating the Dutchman via his Instagram handle wrote, “Congratulations to this guy today, what a fantastic job.“
Being the reserve driver at Mercedes, Hamilton is aware of the relentless simulator work that De Vries does for the team, and to finally see him fulfill his dream of driving in an F1 Grand Prix, has made the 7-time World Champion elated for the 27-year-old.
Nyck De Vries has caught the attention of many F1 teams after his outing in Monza
As things stand, the 2023 driver lineup in a few F1 teams is not completely set as they are looking for options and playing the long game to get the best candidates in their respective seats.
Moreover, Nyck De Vries, after his Monza exploits, has also thrown his hat into the ring and put himself in a strong position. De Vries, during the Italian Grand Prix, was able to showcase his arsenal of skills quite well. In the process of doing so, he was able to catch the attention of quite a few teams.
The Dutchman is a former Formula E Champion and it is believed that the Alpine F1 team rates him very highly and is considering him as a potential candidate to drive alongside Esteban Ocon next year.
Getting a racing seat in the pinnacle of motorsports is not easy as it demands a lot of skill on part of the driver and also requires ample amount of luck.
The politics in F1 are at a whole another level but considering the job that Nyck De Vries did for the Williams outfit in Monza, he has put himself in good stead to get a racing seat for 2023.
