The latest episode of Raw was main evented by Rhea Ripley defending her Women’s World Championship against Iyo Sky. This match also had huge ramifications for WrestleMania, as the winner would go on to defend the title against Bianca Belair at the Showcase of the Immortals. Thus, the EST was at ringside for this match.

The Eradicator went for a Riptide, but the challenger countered it into an avalanche Frankensteiner. The latter went up the turnbuckle and landed an Over the Moonsault to win the match and the championship. After the Australian lost her title, footage showed Ripley fuming by ringside. Meanwhile, Sky stood on the ring apron celebrating as Belair gave both of them a look.

Belair won the Women’s Elimination Chamber match this past Saturday, earning herself a title shot at Mania. The EST has a lot of history with Sky. The latter used to make life a living hell for the women on SmackDown when she was part of Damage CTRL, and the 35-year-old was one of her main targets. Their most recent title match-up took place at Crown Jewel 2023, which featured the Japanese superstar successfully defending her WWE Women’s Championship.

There have also been several rumors about the Women’s World Championship match at WrestleMania 41 being turned into a triple threat. Apart from the fact that fans have already seen Belair vs. Sky multiple times in the past, Ripley will also be upset about losing her title and would want to insert herself into this match.

Kelley brought up Bianca Belair as her WrestleMania opponent and mentioned their long history. Sky had plenty of good things to say about her rival. Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley‘s interview was less than pleasant. She looked completely distraught and was almost in tears. She knew what Sky was capable of and had even beaten her before. However, the 28-year-old said that she overestimated herself, thinking of herself as unstoppable, and this cost her the match.
