Harriet Robson began dating Greenwood in 2019, making it official through Instagram. The ex-couple also started living together in 2020, after they had been together for over a year. Their relationship ended back in January 2022, when Harriet Robson accused Mason Greenwood of physical abuse, sharing pictures of what appeared to be bruises.

Mason Greenwood was one of Europe’s most promising talents before his short career with Manchester United was halted after his ex-girlfriend, Harriet Robson, levelled accusations against him. The 22 years old celebrity influencer accused Greenwood of physical abuse in January 2022, as she shared shocking pictures and videos of the sexual assault. Mason Greenwood was arrested shortly after the accusation, and he was also suspended from Manchester United’s squad and training.

Nike also terminated their endorsement with the player, while Manchester United players and staff unfollowed him on social media. FIFA, the game, also terminated their partnership with Mason Greenwood, removing him from the game. The videos and photos shared by Harriet Robson were enough evidence for Greenwood to be arrested. He was later released on bail, however, his suspension from Manchester United remained intact.

Recently, Greenwood’s year-long battle finally came to an end as all charges were dropped on 2nd February. Greenwood, who had been quiet since the accusations back in January 2022, finally released an official statement.

However Manchester United did not let go of the issue immediately, as they released their official statement on the situation.
