Ricochet made what could very well be his final WWE appearance on the latest episode of Raw. Bron Breakker destroyed him backstage when he rammed him into a car, forcing him to get immediate medical treatment. Multiple reports confirmed that he would be leaving the Stamford-based company once his contract expired. With that said, AEW wrestler Will Ospreay‘s latest message hinted at where he might end up.
Will Ospreay took to social media and shared a video of himself walking on the streets with his friends. He playfully walked up to a pillar, on which Ricochet‘s name was written. While this could simply be banter between two close friends, considering The One and Only’s contract situation, he may have hinted at a future showdown between them.
The Aerial Assassin has been vocal about the charismatic high-flyer’s poor booking in WWE. He described Ricochet as one of the greatest high-flyers of the generation and even placed him on the same level as the legendary Rey Mysterio. Speaking about his recent match, he successfully retained his title in the main event of the July 12 episode of Dynamite against Rey Fenix. The Cat won the AEW International Championship by defeating Roderick Strong at AEW Double Or Nothing.
Meanwhile, there is speculation that the 35-year-old star might appear for one more match against Bron Breakker. Since he reportedly announced that he wouldn’t continue with the company, his date of departure is still undisclosed. Fans also showed their love for Ricochet and left a barrage of comments under his social media handle, urging him not to leave WWE.
Ricochet dropped another cryptic tease hinting that it might be his last few days in WWE
After being written about on TV in the latest episode of Raw, Ricochet might be closing in on leaving the company. Amidst the rumors and uncertainty, he dropped a subtle hint on social media, indicating that it might be his last few days in WWE.
The 35-year-old star took to X and wrote the phrase, “Goodbye, Mr. Dispare,” from the anime called Black Cover. While it could simply imply that he was enjoying the anime and sharing some love for it on social media, it might also serve as a subtle way to bid farewell to WWE. He spent six glorious years in the Stamford-based company and won many championships, but was never considered a main event star.

Ahead of his contract expiration, WWE effectively removed him from all the current storylines that involved him. Recently, he lost the Speed title to Andrade, which he won just a few weeks ago by defeating Johnny Gargano.
