Last night’s edition of AEW Dynamite was interesting, to say the least. Aside from the All In backstage footage, there was another segment that caught the attention of fans online. Will Ospreay came out on stage to talk with Renee Paquette ahead of his dream match against Bryan Danielson at Dynasty. However, he decided to address Triple H‘s comments first, taking a brutal jab at him.
Hunter previously spoke about not wanting to work with talent who prefers lighter schedules. The general consensus online was that the remark was a shot at Ospreay. Therefore, the latter expressed confusion and claimed how hard he works at AEW. Moreover, The Aerial Assassin stated that it was hypocritical for Triple H given that he reached his current position by “grinding” on the boss’ daughter. Obviously, he was referring to his relationship with Stephanie McMahon.
Will Ospreay further warned The Game, telling him he had no idea how hard he works. Afterwards, the former NJPW star spoke about his upcoming bout against Danielson. Evidently, the 30-year-old had enough of the ongoing rumors about him. Besides, Triple H revealed that he was content with the current crop of talent in WWE.

AEW has managed to secure three of the biggest free agents in professional wrestling over the past few months. First, it was Ospreay in November, followed by Kazuchika Okada in early January. Most importantly, the promotion signed Mercedes Mone to one of the most lucrative contracts for a female wrestler. Needless to say, this wasn’t the first nor the last jab that will be thrown by either company.
Triple H recently praised CM Punk’s attitude in WWE
While WWE failed to acquire the aforementioned stars, they did land the services of one CM Punk. The Second City Saint made his shocking return at last year’s Survivor Series: WarGames. This was deemed impossible due to the wrestler’s controversial past with WWE and the current head of creative, Triple H. Recently, The Game was full of praise while commenting of Punk’s comeback.
In an interview with Megan Morant, Hunter claimed that CM Punk has been a positive addition to the roster. He also explained how refreshing his experience has been working with the Best in the World. Triple H revealed that he is more than happy at keeping him involved despite his injury.
It has been so refreshing, in a way, working with him, that we've been keeping him a part of everything, even while he's out injured. So it's been great.Triple H on CM Punk (H/T: Wrestling Inc.)
While speaking about the return, he confirmed that discussions took place only a week before the show. Nick Khan had got the ball rolling and asked the CCO how he felt about bringing in Punk. The WWE legend asserted that he had no issues as the pair hashed out their differences prior to the PLE.
