After being clobbered with a brass knuckles-loaded sucker punch courtesy of Logan Paul last week, CM Punk came out on Raw with vengeance on his mind. Calling Paul a piece of garbage, he affirmed to have his boot on his “broccoli-headed millennial neck” as an act of retaliation. The reigning World Heavyweight Champion eventually asked ‘The Maverick’ to show up. Paul turned up and said he thought he knew it all.
But his eyes opened to a whole new vision after taking that Tsunami from Bronson Reed, added the YouTuber. It was followed by Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker accompanying ‘The Maverick’ to the ring. Punk was outnumbered and badly needed some backup. It didn’t take long with Jey Uso readily arriving to the Chicagoan’s aid.

Still a man short, Punk and Uso received the backing of Cody Rhodes. The current Undisputed WWE Champion’s music hit at a time when the TD Garden in Boston was anticipating Roman Reigns. Even though ‘The OTC’ was nowhere to be found, Rhodes’ arrival got the crowd going, and those over 16,000 in attendance serenaded his theme song.
Once Rhodes, Punk, and Uso stood side by side, Breakker, Reed, and Paul engaged in an all-out brawl with the babyfaces. In a backstage segment, CM Punk was heard thanking his buddies for having his back out there against The Vision.
Raw GM Adam Pearce soon entered the chat, and he sensed that those men around him were up for a war. ‘The Best in the World’, however, screamed, “Regal.” And that’s when WWE Hall of Famer William Regal made a rare appearance on Raw.
He brought back his iconic “WarGames” scream in what was his first time doing it on the main roster. Pearce then asked the babyface trio to prepare for war, and it couldn’t be more obvious that Punk, Rhodes, and Uso, up against Breakker, Reed, and Paul, are confirmed to be locked inside the double-caged structure at Survivor Series. One may surely expect Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar to join the fray.
Triple H declared John Cena his objective ‘Greatest of all time’ on WWE Raw
This week’s Raw opened with Triple H setting the stage for John Cena‘s last-ever WWE appearance in his hometown of Boston. ‘The Game’ introduced him by calling the 48-year-old objectively the greatest of all time. Cena was floored by the raucous welcome and reiterated his gratitude for the WWE Universe.

The Peacemaker star also made a special announcement for the night he’ll wrestle for the final time on December 13. In a move to close one chapter but also to pave the road for the future, Cena said that main roster superstars will hold exhibition matches against the best that NXT has to offer at Saturday Night’s Main Event. ‘The Cenation Leader’ gave a shoutout to Triple H for agreeing to his proposal.

Just as everything was going well, Dominik Mysterio made his presence felt. An interaction between Cena and Dom was on everyone’s bingo cards for this retirement tour, and it happened right at the tail end of it. After Mysterio talked enough trash about being better than Cena ever was in his prime, he didn’t realize he’d booked himself in a corner.
HE DID IT!!!!

JOHN CENA IS INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION! 🤯 pic.twitter.com/wx2m4bXYUg
‘The Cerebral Assassin’ informed the Judgment Day member about putting his Intercontinental Championship on the line against ‘Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect’. And after a crowd-pleasing affair on Raw, Cena put Mysterio away for good. Not only did that put an end to Dom’s 204-day title reign, but it also made Cena a grand slam champion in WWE.
