Elina continues her fine form at Wimbledon and advances into the 2nd round after a tight 1st round contest. Elina was up against Alison Van Uytvanck and went on to win the match 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 as she moved ahead at the All-England Club.
Svitolina had reached the semi-finals of the 2019 Wimbledon and was unfortunate to lose to the eventual champion Simona Halep who is not playing this year at the Championships.
