Among the many interested parties, famous athletes seem to be enlisted at the very top, despite the fact they might be overpaying.
The massive hype surrounding the Tesla Cybertruck in America has influenced many prominent figures to get their hands on it. That’s probably the reason why San Francisco 49ers rookie Ji’Ayir Brown was ready to pay a whopping sum of $230,000 for the cyberstruck until a financial advisor asked him not to.
While talking about his case on the recent episode of the Nightcap show, Chad Johnson and Shannon Sharpe went into a fascinating discussion of the hype surrounding the Tesla truck.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, the NFL legend made a special request to the owner of Tesla, Elon Musk, to gift him a Cybertruck.

Before asking to be gifted with the popular vehicle, Johnson revealed the ugly truth behind the Tesla Cybertruck hype that fans weren’t aware of. First, he thanked the person with whom rookie Brown talked before baking down the huge purchase, saying the vehicle was way overpriced.
The problem is there’s a waiting list at Tesla. So there are other car dealerships that have them, and what they’re doing is they’re just marking the truck up because of supply and demand and understanding that there are people that have the money, and they will spend it just to say, ‘I got a Cybertruck before everybody else.Johnson told his co-host
Even though Brown chose the wise road and saved himself from the large purchase, it appears Deion Sanders’ son Shedeur failed to do so. As he actually bought it, there’s a high chance that he too has overpaid, as Cybertruck is rare and sold way above the fixed price.
