Caitlin Clark and Indiana Fever players are the first WNBA team to board a chartered flight

The WNBA is finally spreading its wings, literally. After jetting around the country on commercial flights with cramped seats, the players are finally getting to stretch their legs on chartered flights. The first team to fly private is the Indiana Fever and their trailblazing rookie superstar Caitlin Clark. They celebrated this moment by giving fans a sneak peek.

The video was shot by their veteran leader, Erica Wheeler, as she moves from the front of the plane to the back. Showing her fellow Indiana Fever teammates, coaches, front office staff as well as their trainers and support staff, all of them cheering and reveling in something that has never happened for regular season games ever.

It also shows how relaxed Caitlin Clark and her teammates are. After all, the whole purpose of a chartered flight is for them to relax and not strain their bodies before and after games.

Something that has led reigning league MVP Breanna Stewart and others to talk about the need for chartered flights. However, better late than never, all teams will be enjoying chartered flights all throughout the season.

If it was not for these superstars and especially Caitlin Clark demanding chartered flights, the league might have continued with their current proposal. But sellout games and the arrival of the college scoring record holder have brought a change that they deserved for a long time.
