Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has rightfully claimed her spot as the jack of all trades if her career is put to stand. Since WNBA wasn’t enough, the 22-year-old has taken over YouTube as well with her podcast, Unapologetically Angel. For the same, Reese earned her well-awaited 100k subscribers silver play button from the platform.

Angel Reese’s podcast, Unapologetically Angel gained 100,000 subscribers, back in November when she shared the news. A month and some days later, Reese received her Silver Play Button from YouTube. In a recent Instagram story, the WNBA star updated her followers on her major accomplishments with a picture of the souvenir.

It indeed was a major milestone by Reese considering her podcast debuted on September 5, with new episodes dropping every Thursday. Additionally, the Sky rookie competes with several other major athletes like Travis Kelce, Jason Kelce, and LeBron James, among others who have their own podcasts.

The play button arrived at Reese’s address as she prepared to make her debut in the Unrivaled League. Fans await her arrival on the court on 17th January. Long time coming, it will be her first game since her season-ending ACL injury. Speaking of which, Reese did a spectacular job with coming a close second in the ROTY race.

Angel Reese doesn’t just prove excellence in sports, but also in other things. The fashion enthusiast often makes headlines for her bold outfits both on and off the court. More recently, the Sky star even received some flak for her outfit choice at New Year’s leading her to temporarily disable her account.

Angel Reese keeping promises after 100k subscribers on YouTube

Early in November, before having hit her then goal of subscribers, Angel Reese made a promise to her loyal social media followers. The WNBA star swore to fly out one unsystematically chosen follower for an episode of her podcast Unapologetically Angel. As the days went by, Reese hit the 100,000 and delivered on her promise.

Angel Reese posted the announcement on her Instagram story with a re-shared post from the podcast’s official handle. She thanked her fans and congratulated her team for their efforts paying off. Alongside that, she asked her followers asking who was willing to fly out to her podcast.

However, that hasn’t happened yet, likely due to Reese’s intense schedule with the podcast and her comeback at the court. Nonetheless, her podcast continues to make waves on the internet. That is in consideration of the fact that Reese cracked her target market with some of the biggest personalities, from sports to entertainment, on her podcast.
