India’s medal tally at the World Junior Wrestling Championships rose to nine as the Indian girls shine on the fourth day. Bipasha secured silver to clinch the nation’s first medal in women’s wrestling. The Indian was impressive on her way to the gold medal bout but faltered on the big stage against American Kylie Welker.

It was shocking for the Indian fans as Bipasha settled for silver with a dismal showing in the final. The third-seeded Indian struggled in the final as she lost to Welker 10-0 via technical superiority. Bipasha had no answer to the 8th seeds move as she finished the bout in the very first period.
