It has been quite a while since Beth Phoenix competed inside the squared circle. She was one of the strongest superstars during her time as an active wrestler and has maintained an incredible physique to this day, which she recently showed off in a recent Instagram post.
Beth Phoenix posted before-and-after photos of her physique, which were around a year apart. In the first photo, fans could see that she had gained some weight after being out of the ring for so long, and her skin also looked aged. In the next photo, she had lost all the extra weight, had developed abs, her skin glowed much more, and she looked cheerful.
Phoenix retired from full-time competition in 2012. She had achieved this after being a professional wrestler for around 10 years. In this decade alone, she had become a 3x Women’s Champion, a Divas’ Champion, and one of only four women to have competed in the men’s Royal Rumble. During the latter appearance, she famously eliminated The Great Khali from the 30-man match.

The Glamazon returned for a brief run in 2019, where she formed a tag team with Natalya. Furthermore, she also had two matches in 2022 and 2023, forming a mixed tag team with her husband, Edge. During this time, they beat the teams of Miz & Maryse as well as Finn Balor & Rhea Ripley.

The WWE Universe was taken aback after seeing this incredible transformation by Beth Phoenix. They commended the 44-year-old for taking such good care of her health, even though she was no longer a full-time competitor. She had also announced in her post that she was alcohol-free for over a year, and fans were incredibly proud of her for this feat.
Some fans speculated that she had worked on her physique to return to the squared circle. The women’s Royal Rumble is right around the corner. The match is famous for having various wrestling veterans return to the ring, even if it is just a one-off appearance. She has already competed in the 2018 and 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble matches.

However, netizens also pointed out that the chances of her appearing in WWE are slim, as her husband, Adam Copeland, is still in AEW. Furthermore, she is currently not under a WWE Legends contract. Many fans still wanted her to return to wrestling, even if it was in AEW and not WWE. This is also perfect timing, considering that her husband just returned from injury at Worlds End.
