John Cena‘s social media accounts have always been a great source of entertainment for his fans. On his Instagram, he often posts out-of-context images with no caption or supporting explanation. As his bio says, he leaves these photos up to the interpretation of his followers.
His X account is a whole other story, where he often posts motivational or thought-provoking messages nearly every other day. John Cena posted another message about others’ perceptions of oneself. It is interesting to note that he has not acknowledged the events of the Elimination Chamber anywhere on the internet and continues to go about his social media accounts as he normally would.
Cena was part of the men’s Elimination Chamber match last Saturday. He was left standing in the ring with CM Punk as part of the final two. These wrestling soulmates reignited their rivalry during the match. Their chemistry was still as strong as it had ever been, and they did not miss a step even after all these years. The Cenation leader eventually came out on top, becoming the number one contender for Cody Rhodes‘ WWE Undisputed Championship.
How others respond to us tends to say a whole lot more about them than it does about us. Evaluate it and don’t take it personal.

Following the match, the WWE Undisputed Champion came out to confront his contender, and The Rock followed behind to get his answer from the American Nightmare. When the former AEW EVP refused to sell his soul, The Final Boss gave a nod to the Elimination Chamber winner. Cena brutalized Cody Rhodes, turning heel in the process.
WWE Universe reacts to John Cena posting on X without acknowledging his heel turn
The wrestling world was surprised to see John Cena fail to acknowledge his actions. A netizen said that the 16x World Champion was acting as if he had done nothing wrong. Another fan joked that the 5x WrestleMania main-eventer had completely no-sold his own heel turn.

Some social media users demanded that Cena start posting heel tweets. Rather than his motivational messages, he should switch to posting demeaning, demotivating, and insulting tweets. Other fans told the Hollywood superstar to take his own advice, do what he wants to do, and not worry about people telling him that he sold out to The Rock.

Forget those people, John. You got nothing to prove. How they react says more about them than you. pic.twitter.com/SU3pP0X1lh

Of course, this post also brought up talks about Cena’s Instagram account. The day he turned heel, the 47-year-old posted the cover photo of the upcoming video game GTA 6. This was likely a reference to the popular ongoing meme saying that fans even got a Cena heel turn before GTA 6. He is still active on Instagram. Although many of his recent posts, such as a photo of Harvey Dent, seem to acknowledge him turning into a wrestling bad guy.
