Karolína Pliskova vs Jessica Pegula : Prediction

Karolina Pliskova

Pliskova’s biggest weapon is her serve. it’s fast, and accurate. Apart from that, her flat returns on both flanks makes the opponent’s run a lot. Whenever she serves wide and comes towards the net, serve and volley, she invariably wins those points. Pegula is quick and likes to hang back on the baseline, attacking short returns with full gusto.

Against players like Pegula one must mix and match the tempo, hard strokes mixed with slice , drop shots. If Pliskova serves well and plays more of her serve and volley game, she should win this.

Pegula on the other hand stands a chance if she makes Pliskova run a lot, side to side, testing her movement and footwork. But, Pliskova should win this match.

Match Prediction: Karolina Pliskova to win in three sets.
