Iga Swiatek is in the form of her life. She is right now at the peak of her career as she is having a season that tennis players only dream of. The Polish tennis player has managed to bang a title of 6 WTA singles titles and 2 Grand Slams this year alone.

She started her season with an impeccable performance at the Australian Open but unfortunately lost the semi-final against the American Danielle Collins miserably. In the run-up to the French Open, she won all the WTA tournaments she played in and was even victorious at the Qatar Open, Indian Wells Open, Miami Open, Stuttgart Open, and Italian Open.

Moreover, the Polish played extremely well at the Roland Garros, defeating the American Coco Gauff in straight sets to clinch the title. Her form then took a minor setback as she was knocked out of Wimbledon in the third round. She also could not do much at the Poland Open, Canada Open, and Cincinnati Masters. But she came all pumped up and performed exceedingly well at the US Open defeating Ons Jabeur in the final.

She then won the San Diego Open and made it to the final of the AGEL Open, where she lost to Barbora Krejcikova. More interestingly, she is only the 4th woman in tennis history to complete consecutive 30 weeks at the Top of the WTA rankings.

Daria Kasatkina is playing well this season. She has beaten many brilliant and wonderful tennis players in various WTA tournaments in 2022. She started her season well by making it to the third round of the Australian Open, but lost to Iga Swiatek in straight sets. She had another third-round exit in the Indian Wells Open at the hands of Angelique Kerber.

The Russian reached the semi-finals of the Italian Open in preparation for the French Open but again lost to Iga Swiatek in straight sets. She was then knocked out of the Berlin Open and Bad Homburg Open in the quarter-finals of both tournaments by Maria Sakkari and Bianca Andreescu, respectively.

She won her first WTA title by winning the Silicon Valley Classic tournament. After a couple of first-round exits from the Canada Open and Cincinnati Masters, she came back strongly to win the Les Championnats Banque Nationale de Granby tournament. However, soon after her form took an instant hit on the back of some very disappointing performances in the US Open, San Diego Open, AGEL Open, and Guadalajara Open.
