“Love him to death”: AEW star praises 16-time Champion John Cena

MJF and Cena
John Cena is one of the biggest names in the professional wrestling industry. With 16-World Championships under his name, Cena is the most successful Superstar in the history of WWE. While he currently holds this record with Ric Flair, he could still surpass him and make the record his own in the coming years.
The Leader of Cenation has moved to focus on his career in Hollywood, but he continues to make sporadic appearances for the company. There was a time when he was pushed as the face of the company and all the major storylines and titles used to revolve around him. Cena was essentially one of the biggest babyfaces ever.
For nearly a decade, John Cena has played a perfect, Superman like character on WWE TV. He has inspired generations with his WWE character who portrayed the power of doing good. There might be many who aspire to be like the 16-time World Champion. But surprisingly, one of the biggest heels in the industry loves Cena too!
MJF is one of the biggest Heels on the All Elite Wrestling roster. The leader of The Pinnacle recently appeared on Freddie Prinze Jr.’s podcast Wrestling with Freddie. On the show he mentioned that how much he loved John Cena.
“Love John Cena to death…But the thing you have to understand is that’s the price of greatness. You’re not always going to get along with people, that’s why me and John got along so well the one time I met up with him,” mentioned MJF.
John Cena’s TV series got renewed for another season

In 2021, John Cena was signed to play a Superhero named Peacemaker in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. It was a lesser known character but it completely won the fans all over the globe. The reviews were such that the studio almost immediately greenlit a TV series for his character.
In January the show aired, with the season finale airing recently. It went on to become one of the biggest TV Series for HBO Max. The studio once again wasted no time in greenlighting the second season of the show. With this, Cena is all set to don the suit and now iconic helmet once again!
