“Why are you back?”: Becky Lynch feels Ronda Rousey shouldn’t have returned to WWE

Lynch and Rousey
Ronda Rousey is one of the biggest Superstars on the WWE roster today. She made the jump to professional wrestling after dominating the worlds of judoka and Mixed Martial Arts. “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” signed with WWE in 2018ma and made her in-ring debut at Wrestlemania 34.
Rousey had debuted in a Mixed Tag Team match. She had teamed up with Kurt Angle to defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at Wrestlemania 34. She had a major progress curve, as she went on to main event the first ever Women’s main-event match at Wrestlemania 35. Unfortunately, the results weren’t favorable as she had entered the event as the Raw Women’s Champion but walked out empty handed.
This was the last time Ronda Rousey was seen on WWE, before she made a thunderous return to the company at the 2022 Royal Rumble. Well she not only returned but even went on to win the Women’s Royal Rumble match. “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” is now gearing up to challenge Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania Saturday.
Ronda Rousey had returned to the company after having a baby. Interestingly, she isn’t the only one on the roster who has done that. Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch too welcomed her daughter, before returning to action. In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, Big Time Becks mentioned that Rousey should’ve taken more time before returning to the company.
“I don’t think she’s returned to that level. I think she may have needed a bit more time, which again if you have a child and you’re coming back after four months, that’s an incredible task. But sometimes you need a bit more time, especially if you haven’t been doing this for years upon years,” mentioned the Raw Women’s Champion.
Ronda Rousey will be aiming to improve her Wrestlemania record

While the UFC Hall of Famer is fairly new to the squared ring, she has already performed at Wrestlemania twice and will be looking forward to main-eventing for the second time in her career. In the main event of Wrestlemania Saturday, Ronda Rousey will be going after Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s title.
But she will be seriously hoping to improve her record in the main event of Showcase of Immortals. The last she had been in the main event, her and Flair both ended up losing their titles to Becky Lynch. This time it is a singles match and one of them will be definitely walking out with an improved record.
