‘The Viper’ Randy Orton is one of the most underrated heels of all time. He is one of the most legitimate heels of the PG Era. His 2009 heel run. During this time, his feud with Triple H was a treat for WWE fans and is talked about even to this day. With his actions, he had made the fans genuinely hate him during his heel period. Orton portrayed himself as a person with mental instability, who could do anything to harm his opponent.

When talking about heels, one just cannot keep the Rated R Superstar aside. Edge is known for using cheap antics to win titles. His 2006 feud with John Cena was so good that it contributed a lot to making John Cena a big star. One time, he would attack John Cena’s dad, and the other time he would do a ‘Rated-R’ celebration with his girlfriend on live television.
3. Rowdy Roddy Piper
‘The Hot Rod’ was one of the biggest stars in the 80s. Many also believe that he is the one that made Heels cool. He did not even need to speak a word, he would just come out and the crowd booed him like hell. Also, he hosted “The Piper’s Pit” on which he would invite fellow superstars as guests and demean them. Piper inspired many to make a successful career out of heel character, which was not common back then.

‘The Great One’ was one of a kind heel. His mic skills were top notch which contributed a lot to the heel antics. After joining the corporation, his transition from ‘The People’s Champion’ to ‘Corporate Champion’ and ‘People’s Elbow’ to ‘Corporate Elbow’ brought in a lot of heat. Moreover, his persona as “Hollywood Rock” in 2003 was some of the finest heel work we have ever seen. The Rock is a good wrestler.

Vince McMahon is the billionaire owner of the WWE franchise and was even seen wrestling his own daughter in front of live television and an audience! One week, fans would see the man kiss a girl half his age, next week one would see him standing with his pants down. He played heel most of his career and did not hold back to do anything that could bring in some heat.
