Johnny Gargano is one of the talented WWE Superstars on the current roster, and he has the calibre to be a World Champion one day. Gargano has had a great NXT career and has been a one-time NXT Champion during his time in NXT and has also clinched the NXT North American Championship 3 times while being on the brand.
Gargano always wanted to become a wrestler, and it has been his lifelong dream to become a WWE Champion one day. The main reason he came back to the WWE was that he didn’t want to feel regret later in life for not trying to be a WWE Champion, intercontinental Champion while being a wrestler.
Johnny Gargano is currently involved in a feud with Austin Theory as when the former NXT Champion returned to WWE, he super kicked Theory on the same night and that’s when the feud between the two began. This week on RAW, Johnny Gargano teamed up with Kevin Owens to face the Alpha Academy in a tag team match.
Towards the end of the match, Austin distracted Johnny Gargano, which allowed Gable to deliver a DDT, but Gargano managed to kick out, and thereafter, Superkicked Theory and delivered a DDT to Chad to score the pinfall and win the match.
Johnny Gargano has faced the best in NXT and has won the feud of the year award for his feuds against Tommaso Ciampa and Adam Cole. During a recent interview with WWE Espanol, Gargano expressed his desire to face Seth Rollins and AJ Styles in the WWE.
“Obviously, there’s a guy that I’ve been in the ring with on the indies like that I haven’t wrestled on a big stage. Guys like Seth Rollins and AJ Styles, those are two guys at the top of my head,”

Johnny Gargano reveals why he doesn’t appreciate Theory
In the same interview, Johnny Gargano spoke about his current rival and former ally, Austin Theory. He claimed that he had always wanted Theory to be where he is now and to be successful in his career. Gargano stated that he wants to see Austin win the championship because, while choosing Austin for his team, The Way in NXT, he knew he would be the face of WWE in the future. Gargano claimed that Austin Theory was given things when he was promoted to the main roster, implying that he was given opportunities and that is why he lacks respect for Theory.
