“I had to push through the whole match”: Bianca Belair Recalls Battling Becky Lynch with A Bruised Eye at Wrestlemania 38
Bianca Belair
On Night One, Lynch’s battle with Belair for the RAW women’s championship was simply enthralling. From start to end, the competition was intriguing, with spectacular entrances and jaw-dropping moments. Lynch kicked the EST in the eye in one of these areas, but the maneuver appears to have been mismanaged and has caused some terrible damage to Belair’s left eye.
The new Raw women’s champion posted a photo of her injured left eye on social media, and the injury appears to be rather painful. Belair, on the other hand, looked to be in high spirits, posting before and after pictures of her eye, both with and without makeup, on Instagram.
“I felt that right away. It started swelling right away and I was like, ‘I’m going to have to finish this match with one eye. How am I going to do this?’ I mean, she put me through it that whole, entire match. I was like, ‘Is this the last straw?’ But I just had to push through. I had to push through the whole match. This is going to make me or this is going to break me. I’m either going to be holding the title with one eye or I’m going to be backstage crying with one eye. So, I had to push through.” Bianca Belair revealed.
Bianca Belair got her first challenger on Monday Night Raw recently

Bianca Belair was stopped by Sonya Deville after her bout with Zelina Vega on this week’s edition of Raw, who informed Bianca that she needed to sign a contract for her WrestleMania Backlash match.
Belair easily beat Queen Zelina in a singles match on the April 11 episode of WWE RAW. Leaving everyone astonished, Sonya Deville approached the ring after the match to congratulate Belair on her victory against Becky Lynch at Wrestlemania 38.
She went on to describe Belair’s prospective opponent as a “generational talent” who promised a year ago to return and win the crown. She diverted Belair’s attention away from the stage and attacked the champion from behind. Belair was left lying on the stage by Deville, who declared that she would be the champion’s next opponent.
