“The stakes will rise”: Bianca Belair teases massive surprise for Elimination Chamber

Bianca Belair is one of the top performers on the WWE roster today. She has been on a dream run since the beginning of 2021. Belair kicked off the year with a win in the Women’s Royal Rumble match and earning herself a ticket to main event Wrestlemania 36. She was on the Road to Wrestlemania feuding against the then-Smackdown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks.

In a historic main event match on Night One of Wrestlemania 37, the EST of WWE pinned Sasha Banks to kick off her first reign as the Smackdown Women’s Champion. During her reign as the Champion – she successfully defended her title against the likes of Sasha Banks, Carmella and Bayley among other. But the reign came to a screeching halt when Becky Lynch showed up at Summerslam 2021.

It wasn’t just a simple loss, it was a destructive loss. It badly hurt the entire build up of Bianca Belair because she was pinned in merely 26 seconds. Since then, the EST of WWE has failed to recover from the loss. While the company has tried to push her again, it hasn’t been on the same level as it was last year.

But a massive opportunity has risen in front of the Smackdown Women’s Champion. In a couple of days she will be entering the Elimination Chamber with five other participants to become the No.1 Contender for the Raw Women’s Championship. A big win inside the unforgiving structure could put Belair’s run back on track.

While 4 other participants have already been announced for the match. The final participant still remains a mystery. Bianca Belair recently teased the mystery participant while speaking to Inside The Ropes’ Innes McVey. “Maybe Bayley is coming back; maybe Asuka, there’s been vignettes of Alexa Bliss, so one of those three women. But whoever it is, it’s going to really raise the stakes.”

The Elimination Chamber match for the No.1 Contender for the Raw Women’s Championship has so far announced 5 participants – Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Nikki A.S.H., Liv Morgan and Doudrop. The winner of the match could earn a shot at the title at the Grandest Stage of All – Wrestlemania.

Interestingly, 3 of the announced participants have already won the title. But Morgan and Doudrop are yet to get their hands on the gold. Which makes it quite likely that either of the two could score a win. Or WWE might deliver a complete swerve, with the surprise entrant going the entire distance!
