“Control Your Narrative”: Braun Strowman’s hilarious reply to John Cena’s tweet
Strowman and Cena
John Cena is one of the biggest names in the world of professional wrestling. He had kicked off his career as a bodybuilder but soon made the move to professional wrestling. He has been with WWE for over two decades now – and the company played a massive role in making him the global personality that he is today.
The Leader of Cenation was immensely pushed as the face of the company. He went on to become the most successful Superstar in the history of the company, in terms of World Championship reigns. Cena has won 16 WWE World Championships, a record which he holds with “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. Considering he is still a part-time performer, Cena could well break his own record.
But John Cena’s primary focus has now moved to his career in Hollywood. While there is no doubt that he loves his WWE Universe, he hasn’t been able to give much time to them in the recent years, owing to his acting projects. But he tries his best to remain in touch with them through social media.
Recently, his tweet got a reply from a former WWE Superstar, who hilariously used his tweet to promote his own new wrestling promotion. “Control the uncontrollable. Not what happens but what you do about what happens” – John Cena had tweeted. Former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman, real name Adam Scherr made a smart rely to this tweet.
“What he’s really trying to say is Control Your Narrative”– replied Strowman. After being released from WWE due to budget cuts, Strowman had launched his own wrestling promotion, with EC3. The name of the promotion, as might’ve guessed, is Control Your Narrative!
John Cena had some kind words for The Miz
The 16-time WWE World Champion is gearing up to present WWE’s new documentary series, WWE Evil. In order to promote the same, Cena had praised former WWE Champion The Miz. But Miz being Miz, took the opportunity to taunt John Cena and remind him of their match at Wrestlemania. “Hey John Cena, remember when I beat you at Wrestlemania?” But Cena replied in a surprisingly calm manner to the A-lister!
“I do. Vividly. You worked your a** off on the road to the event and at the event itself. Sacrificing your body during the event to do all you could to give the audience every ounce, even possibly at the expense of your own memory. Your passion and dedication hasn’t ever changed,” – Cena responded.
