Brock Lesnar confirms his WWE status on Friday Night Smackdown
Brock Lesnar
On Day 1 of WWE Draft 2021, Brock Lesnar has confirmed his WWE status after brawling with the Universal Champion Roman Reigns and the Smackdown Tag Team Champions, the Usos. Jeff Hardy was drafted to Smackdown and was scheduled to have an interview with Kayla Braxton but Brock approached him and Hardy went back in respect.
Lesnar then took over the mic from Kayla Braxton and said that he is a free agent. This means that the Beast Incarnate has neither been drafted to Raw nor to Smackdown. Rather, it is on Lesnar now which brand he choses to turn into the suplex city. Here’s what Lesnar said:
“Ladies and gentlemen, I have a public announcement I’d like to share. I’d like to thank my good friend Paul Heyman. Because of Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar is a free agent. All because of Paul. And all because of that, Brock Lesnar gets to do whatever Brock Lesnar wants to do.”
Now that Lesnar is a free agent, the Beast Incarnate will chose where he stays, Raw or Smackdown, keeping in mind, his Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel 2021.
Which brand will Brock Lesnar choose?
Brock Lesnar can choose either of the two brands. Being the megastar he is, it will not be hard for him to adapt to the new brand and get the environment comfortable. If Lesnar choses Smackdown, it will be clear that he is focused on Roman Reigns and the Universal Championship.
But if he moves to Monday Night Raw, he could feud with the Almighty Bobby Lashley in a dream match, Edge in a blockbuster match and many other stupendous matches. But if the Beast moves to Raw, the WWE Universe should know that Paul Heyman will have a very big hand in the big decision.
