Bron Breakker is one of the WWE’s most talented and rising performers. Being a second-generation wrestler, wrestling runs in Breakker’s blood. He is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Rick Steiner and the nephew of Scott Steiner.

Breakker has improved a lot since his debut, with his hard-hitting, power-based wrestling style impressing the crowd. He has also been effective on the mic and projects confidence and a natural aggressiveness while giving promos.

Bron Breakker made his professional wrestling debut in 2020 at the WrestleJam 8 event. He was signed by WWE in February 2021 and trained himself at the performance center. After portraying several non-wrestling characters, Breakker made his in-ring debut in September 2021 under the ring name Bron Breakker.

His first match was against LA Knight, whom he defeated. He has since competed under the ring name Bron Breakker. His real name is Bronson Rechsteiner, and he hasn’t wrestled under this name.

He put himself on the map when he became the NXT Champion for the first time at the New Year’s Evil on January 4, 2022. He won the championship by defeating Ciampa at the event. However, at the NXT Roadblock, Dolph Ziggler won the NXT Championship by defeating Breakker and Ciampa in a Triple Threat Match.  

On the April 4th edition of RAW, he defeated The Showoff to win back the NXT Championship. Since then, he has often successfully defended the title and in September 2022 he successfully united the NXT UK and NXT Championship.

Bron Breakker revealed the origin of his real name

Back in 2021, during an interview with Graham Matthews of the Daily DDT, Bron Breakker spoke about the origin of his in-ring name. Breakker said that when he used to play football, he used to block opponents and break them in half.

He stated that when it occurred to him that he used to break people, he decided his second name would be Breakker and his first name would remain the same as his birth name.

“We were just sitting around one day and I’m like, ‘Well, when I used to block people in football, I used to try to break them in half……Breakker, and then it came to me. Bron is part of my first name and that’s what we went with.”

Bron Breakker won the Georgia Class AAAAAA state championship when he was in high school. The second-generation wrestler obtained a degree in criminal justice from Georgia’s Kennesaw State University. He played football for the Kennesaw State Owls as a student at Kennesaw and has played at both defensive and running back positions. Bron Breakker is in a relationship with fellow wrestler Cora Jade.
