Tommaso Ciampa’s professional wrestling career began way back in 2005, and he was trained by WWE Hall of Famer Killer Kowalski. Initially, he performed on the independent promotions like Chaotic Wrestling and Top Rope Promotions.
In 2005, Ciampa made an appearance on WWE. He appeared as a lawyer and was attacked by The Undertaker. He continued to make appearances on dark matches and signed a developmental contract with WWE in 2007. He made appearances through several characters and was ultimately released in the same year.
After being released from WWE, Ciampa was again active on the independent circuit. From 2011-2015 he performed on Ring of Honor and also Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.
