Michael Gregory Mizanin, popularly known as “The Miz” to the WWE Universe is an actor, in addition to being an American professional wrestler. The first, and currently the only 2-time WWE Grand Slam Champion currently performs on WWE Raw.
The Miz’s career, unsurprisingly, began as a reality television personality. Way back in 2001, he appeared on The Real World: Back to New York and its subsequent spin-offs from 2002-2005. His wrestling career was launched in the fourth season of Tough Enough, which he ended as the runner-up.
In 2021, The Miz got back with his long-time tag team partner John Morrison. While they jointly delivered some hilarious segments, the things have taken an interesting turn, as a feud kicked off between the two at the SummerSlam fallout episode of WWE Raw. However, in the most bizarre circumstances, WWE released The Shaman of Sexy, abruptly ending their feud.
Since then, The A-lister has mostly been a mid-carder. He had quite a pleasing rivalry with Edge in late 2021, which culminated in a singles match at Day 1 PLE. The Rated-R Superstar emerged victorious in that grudge affair. Later at Royal Rumble last year, Edge and Beth Phoenix defeated Miz and Maryse in a mixed tag team match. After that, his next noteworthy rivalry came against Logan Paul. The Maverick aced The Miz at SummerSlam 2022, in an awe-inspiring contest.
