How can Jeff Hardy rise up the card once again?

Hardy could be added to the card

Jeff Hardy is one of the legends of the professional wrestling industry who still continues to impress the fans with his high-flying abilities. He currently performs on WWE’s red brand Raw. But his recent appearances on the show has led to an outrage among the fans.

On the latest episode of WWE Raw – Hardy, who happens to be a former WWE Champion, was seen running after the 24/7 Championship. Several fans took to Twitter to share their anger due to the way Jeff Hardy was being utilized on the roster. But during the upcoming episode of Raw, WWE has an opportunity to control the damage that has been done.

Out of the several segments announced for the show – one includes Damian Priest issuing an Open Challenge for the United States Championship. Priest is trying to do something similar like John Cena had done, and his previous Open Challenge match against Drew McIntyre and Sheamus are a proof that some great matches are in the offing.

This week, Jeff Hardy could respond to the challenge. But this is not all. Hardy and Priest need to deliver a brutal high-flying bout, in order to convince the fans that WWE has not left him high and dry. Hardy’s last win came against Karrion Kross, when he debuted on the Red brand.

Damian Priest is already scheduled to face Sheamus at Extreme Rules in the United States Championship match. So it is quite unlikely that Jeff Hardy would win the title, if he answers the Open challenge. But another loss might hurt him further.

Hence, WWE could find a middle way and have the Hardy-Priest match end in disqualification. This would neither affect Priest’s run nor will it hurt Hardy. Later, after the Priest and Sheamus feud is over Jeff Hardy could return to challenge for the United States Championship.
