Charlotte Flair picks up decisive win in the final match of 2021

Flair

Charlotte Flair is one of the biggest Superstars in WWE today. Currently in her 13th reign as the WWE World Champion, Flair has held the title for the highest number of times. In 2021, she won the Raw Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank, but lost the title the very next day when Nikki A.S.H. cashed in her contract successfully.

But the second-generation wrestler managed to win her title back at WWE Summerslam 2021, and has been a Champion ever since. The Draft 2021 led to her exchanging her title with Becky Lynch for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. She has been on a dominant run throughout this year, and is well set to hold on to the title in the coming months.

Recently she successfully defended her title against Toni Storm in the Christmas episode of Smackdown. But her dominance continues on live events as well. In the final WWE live event of 2021, Flair put her title on the line against “The Boss” Sasha Banks. In fact, she managed to pick up a decisive win to retain the title.

In the final WWE show of the year, two Championship matches were a part of the card. The Smackdown Tag Team Championship and the Smackdown Women’s title were on the line, but neither changed hands. The main event of the night featured a Street Fight between Drew McIntyre and Sheamus.

Who could be Charlotte Flair’s next challenger?

Storm and Flair

Toni Storm recently stepped up to challenge Charlotte Flair. But this feud never led to a match at a PPV event and concluded recently. In fact Storm too was released from the company. With this, there is no active feud for Flair.

But the Blue brand has numerous Superstars who could stand up to challenge The Queen. The most likely challenger is Sasha Banks. In fact, the current live event bookings also suggest that WWE is planning a feud for them. Considering how massive Superstars they are, it could be a longer feud continuing till Wrestlemania 38.
