The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes is the mystery opponent of Vince McMahon’s choice to face Seth Rollins and he’s back in WWE. The crowd erupted as his music hit and this possibly could be the biggest pop ever received by a Superstar at the show of shows.
Seth Rollins vs Cody Rhodes is full-fledged underway
It had been rumoured for months, ever since Cody departed from AEW, that the American Nightmare is on his way back to WWE. Seth Rollins couldn’t find a match at Wrestlemania, owing to his failed attempts over the past month. This made Chairman Vince McMahon himself call the Visionary to his office and give him a match at Wrestlemania against a mystery opponent. This opponent had been rumoured to be the second generation superstar Cody Rhodes and so has been the case. He’s here, he’s back!
Cody Rhodes is back to WWE and he has brought his theme as well as the American Nightmare character. As soon as the music hit, the only thing that has been heard in the arena are “Cody Cody” chants. Not only the arena, but people at home have also erupted too as Twitter is full of reactions to Cody Rhodes’ most anticipated WWE return.
It now needs to be seen who emerges as the winner. But the only that is guaranteed is that the American nightmare and the visionary are delivering a five-star classic.
