WWE Crown Jewel 2021: Zelina Vega qualifies for the inaugural Queen’s Crown finals

WWE Crown Jewel 2021 will not only be featuring Championship bouts. But a couple of additional titles are also going to be on the line at the upcoming WWE event in Saudi Arabia. 4 Championships are going to be on the line – and we may or may not see new Champions. But we will be definitely getting the new King of the Ring and the first Queen’s Crown winners.
The final matches of both these tournaments are scheduled to take place at WWE Crown Jewel 2021. So far, one finalist has qualified for each of the tournaments. Finn Balor is just one step away from being crowned the King of the Ring, whereas Zelina Vega us also one win away from being the inaugural Queen’s Crown winner.
Zelina Vega picked up a dominant win against Toni Storm in the first round of the Queen’s Crown tournament. Her former tag team partner Carmella also picked up a win in the first round against Liv Morgan. The two Superstars clashed in the semi-finals, where Zelina Vega emerged victorious.
Interestingly, Vega was released from the company some time ago and was bought back. Since her return she went on a losing spree – failing to picking up even a single win. Her second run with the company was proving to be disastrous. But things have started to look up once again, as she has qualified for the finals and is just one step away from being crowned the queen!
Vega could face Shayna Baszler at WWE Crown Jewel 2021
While Zelina Vega has been the top contender for the Queen’s Crown from Smackdown, she still awaits for an opponent to emerge from the Red brand. She could either be facing Shayna Baszler or Doudrop at WWE Crown Jewel 2021. Baszler defeated Dana Brooke, where as Doudrop overcame Natalya in their respective first rounds.
WWE has been teasing a feud between Shayna Baszler and Doudrop on Raw recently. This suggests that whoever loses in the upcoming semi-final match, will go on to interfere in the final match, which would ultimately result in Vega winning the inaugural tournament.
