“It’s a very professional relationship”; When Dominik Mysterio explained how things are between him and Vince McMahon
Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio
The Legendary Luchador Rey Mysterio’s son Dominik Mysterio made an impressive debut back in 2020. The son of the Master of 619 made his debut at Summerslam 2020 when the former Tag Team Champion battled the Visionary Seth Rollins in a losing fashion, but the debutant impressed everyone with his performance.
Following his debut, Dominik made his entry into the Smackdown roster and then went on to perform as a tag team with his father, Rey Mysterio. The luchador then became the first ever father-son Tag team Champions which led to both the men gaining a lot of popularity and fame.
But, after losing the Tag Team Championships, the young star lost his fame and has also lost the weekly appeal that he had before. The former tag team champion is not seen on Raw every week and if seen, battles in a losing fashion. This has also brought WWE into the possibility of splitting the father and son for the one who has lost his appeal.
Dominik Mysterio recently opened up about his interaction with Vince McMahon
Dominik Mysterio recently appeared in an interview with the Metro and revealed everything about his relationship with the Chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon. Here’s what he said:
“I’ve known him since I was a kid. It’s a very professional relationship – always, ‘Hello, sir. Thank you, sir.’ But I think after my debut, where we had just that little moment where he hugged me and told me, ‘Not a lot of people get that ovation when they come back.’ That, to me, is special. I have yet to show him the picture of him holding me as a kid. I’m sure he’s seen it out there,’ he admitted.’ But for me to show it to him personally, I think he’ll get a kick out of it.” – Sportskeeda
