Becky Lynch did talk some trash about the city of Birmingham during her promo battle with Nikki Bella on Raw this Monday. While doing so, the reigning women’s IC champion brought up legendary English singer-songwriter Ozzy Osbourne by saying that he was the only good thing that came out of that city and died a month ago. The UK Music Hall of Famer’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, isn’t happy about it.

She censured the cheap selection of words and called Lynch a disrespectful dirtbag. Furthermore, she slammed WWE for even allowing such things to be said about her late father and the city he grew up in. It seems like the company has already realized the gravity of the situation.

As per Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, WWE has talked about issuing a public apology, with settling the matter privately also under consideration. It should be noted that Osbourne’s daughter, Kelly, inadvertently tagged a Becky Lynch fan page account in her Instagram message reproving the Raw segment.

While it doesn’t make any major difference in her stance encompassing both Lynch and WWE, the netizens made some fuss about it regardless. Speaking of Lynch’s Osbourne mention on Raw, she didn’t outright dump on the ‘Prince of Darkness’ and even praised his decision to relocate to Los Angeles.

‘The Man’ quipped that if she were to live in Birmingham, she’d have died too. In another notable insult of the Brits, the real-life Rebecca Quinn lambasted the typical English behavior of taking everything over as if 800 years of oppressing the Irish wasn’t enough for them.

Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella set for Paris showdown after Raw segment

Apart from the latest trouble she’s gotten herself into, Becky Lynch needs to stay on her toes. Because this Saturday, she’ll defend her women’s Intercontinental Championship against Nikki Bella. The latter went after the Irish wrestler in early August and deemed her a disappointment for trying to handcuff the current generation of rising female superstars.

Lynch hurled a deep-cutting insult at Bella during the same promo that involved a John Cena reference. The Barmageddon host was taken aback, and the crowd was all for it. Back then, the ‘Irish Lass Kicker’ ended up taking a cheap shot at the WWE Hall of Famer. Speaking of this week’s confrontation between the two, the former Divas Champion managed to level up Lynch on the microphone.

The erstwhile Total Divas host said Lynch was cheap, a cheat, and a champion, but she was also another C-word, which, as per Bella, was “coward.” Everyone was expecting something else that could’ve been inappropriate to say for a PG-rated program.

Lynch made a hilarious face by saying that being called a coward was way worse than the other C-word she thought Bella was going to say. At last, the ‘Big Time Becks’ barely escaped a Rack Attack 2.0 attempt from ‘The Beautiful Bomber’ to end the segment.

How did Becky Lynch react to Naomi’s pregnancy reveal?

Becky Lynch is really in a league of her own at the moment. The way she reacted to Naomi‘s recent pregnancy announcement was just the cherry on top. The Limerick-born wrestler wrote on X that it was extremely irresponsible of ‘The Glow Queen’ to have a baby while holding the women’s world title.

It didn’t take long for the mother-to-be to clap back at Lynch. In response, Naomi said, “Well I learned from the best.” For the unversed, the Anoa’i clan star was referring to the time when Lynch herself announced she was pregnant while she was the Raw Women’s Champion back in May 2020.

The Irishwoman voluntarily handed over the title to Asuka, who, at the time, was holding the Money in the Bank contract. Speaking of Naomi, although she has vacated the championship belt, WWE has yet to decide how they’ll crown a new champion. Stephanie Vaquer was set to challenge Naomi for the gold at Clash in Paris, but it’s off now.
