Everything you need to know about Aliyah – the New record holder for the fastest win in WWE history

The 27-year-old wrestler Aliyah, who joined the business in 2015 before being promoted up to the blue brand in November, hasn’t appeared on the show in a significant way for a time but made an impact with her comeback this week.

Aliyah was scheduled in a match against Natalya, who brags about having three Guinness World Records — more matches, PPV matches, and wins than any other woman in WWE history.

She turned her attention on yet another world record, aiming to beat her opponent in under 3.8 seconds for the fastest victory ever.

Aliyah sets a new Guiness World Record

The Queen of Harts Natalya tried to even the odds by knocking Aliyah out before the bell to gain an edge and almost guarantee a swift victory.

Aliyah, who had claimed she could compete, reacted as soon as the bell rang, winning the stunning pinfall victory in 3.17 seconds, shattering the previous record.

But, who is Aliyah?

Aliyah, who is young, fearless, and ineffably energetic, enjoys being in the limelight, probably because she is used to it. Starting with stints on the WWE Network original series Breaking Ground and continuing through her initial steps inside the NXT ring as a competitor, the WWE Universe has followed her road to Superstardom.

She gradually increased her TV appearances. She started her NXT career as an augmentation talent, a lesser-known opponent for more well-known wrestlers. In short fights, she faced off against the NXT women’s champion Asuka.
She has become a more prominent member of the NXT women’s division since then. She’s had numerous run-ins with the company’s regular heels, Royce and Billie Kay.

Aliyah’s main roster call-up

When Aliyah made her main-card debut on an edition of WWE SmackDown in 2017, fans saw a glimpse of a future superstar. The NXT Superstar paid a surprise appearance on the blue brand. On Tuesday’s performance in Jacksonville, Florida, she faced off against Carmella.

This wasn’t supposed to be a call-up to the main roster; rather, it was supposed to be a trial run. When WWE returns to Florida, where its developing system is based, it frequently invites NXT talents. Aliyah’s fans didn’t get to know her very well as a result of her battle with Carmella. The bouncy, black-clad athlete tapped out to Code of Silence less than three minutes in.

But she very well proved herself on this week’s edition of Smackdown as she beat Natalya in 3.17 seconds to set up a Guinness World Record for the fastest win in WWE history. What more can we expect from Aliyah and what does she have in store for us? The coming weeks will unveil!
